Introduction to Cross-country course
This year we are very fortunate to be able to have a place to put up a cross-country course. At this stage the course is not going to be run as an competing event, but merely to have fun with our horses. Never-the-less, we still need to get our horses jumping fit and to desensitize them for going through the water jumps and slopes.
There will be a course for the beginners and also for the more advanced riders.

Another first for the BBos Riding School.
This event is worth trying out, as it consist of three trials, or tests. These include Dressage, Ease of Handling, and Speed.
Horse and rider work as a pair/team. They have to face precision, obstacles and the clock. There will be three levels you could choose to enter: Children/lead, Introductory or Novice.

Experience our beautiful countryside and fynbos on horseback....
Enjoy the family day with your friends and family, as we trek through the local farms and fynbos, with stunning views of our beautiful and unique countryside.
Join us with your own horse/pony or use one of the school's. This is ideally for
-
The whole family,
-
Beginner riders
-
Friendly get-together
-
Young and older riders
-
Experienced riders
Obstacle Courses are a fun way to expose your horses to unusual situations and desensitize them to the real world.
Obstacles may be required to be completed ridden or led, and include things like:
-
riding through water,
-
opening and closing a gate,
-
jumping a small fence
-
riding or leading up or down a slope,
-
over a bank or through a dip.
It is lots of fun and also gives you something to work on when you go home.

This is one event you DO NOT want to miss out on!!
This is an activity you can do with the whole family (as long as your team is on horseback or beginner rider is being led. Your task is simple, find the most obstacles/objects on your list in a given time.
This is not a sport for everyone. You need to be able to handle frustration, be willing and able to laugh at yourself, and have a sincere love for your horse and your fellow competitors.
Open to riders and horses of all levels and abilities.
